As a trainer, I will challenge you to not only set - but take the steps necessary to meet - your goals. My dedication to each client separates me from any other instructor who I've encountered.
I grew up playing sports. Basketball in the Bahamas, soccer and gymnastics in England, but the fire was lit for me when I began tennis. I was fourteen when I first started playing tennis and like all new things it took some time to refine my skill.
Deven "Pirata" Chasten
Between Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Judo, and Wrestling, I has over ten years grappling experience. I pride myself on staying true to the art, keeping a solid foundation of the basics of what jiu jitsu was built on, while also looking to advance with the martial arts.
Fitness has always been a key aspect of my life. I grew up playing team sports (Soccer, Basketball, and Football) and continued that competitive mentality into adulthood, always trying to push my limits and driving myself to be better.
Jesse loves yoga and what it can do for the mind and body. He started practicing six years ago and consistently challenges himself on and off the mat.
My goal in life is to share my passion for health and fitness with as many people as possible. I have been lucky enough to go on many fitness journeys with my clients while seeing them achieve their goals.
Corey "Joker" Johnson
I started martial arts in 2003 with kickboxing/striking and combative weapons. Years later, I took up Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and I am currently a purple belt under 4th degree black belt Dustin Denes.
I have always loved playing sports and being outdoors. As a child, I was fearless and was always getting into all sorts of dangerous shenanigans. Anywhere from climbing telephone poles to jumping over ditches… you name it and I would do it!
I am a KC native and a 2012 graduate from Baker University. I was most recently employed at Church of the Resurrection and now am currently in graduate school for spiritual formation.
I sought out yoga to help relieve pain and add to my physical strength. 12 years later, yoga has changed my mind more than my body and has had a positive effect on just about every area of my life.
